5ivepillars wanted a small everyday accessory that carried the brand as well as its apparel does. A card wallet is simple, so every decision shows: the proportions, the material, and how the mark sits on the surface. With no room for extra graphics, the emboss had to do all the work.

Design

I developed the wallet's form and the emboss artwork together, sizing the mark so it read clearly without overpowering the piece. The ideation by the design team was that the card had a unique feature, a window made of the brand logo mark arch that shows the face on the license. This took meticulous measurement and planning to execute on perfectly

Tech pack

I built the full tech pack for production, covering dimensions, materials, stitching, and emboss specs, including depth and placement. The goal was a document a factory could follow without back-and-forth, so the finished piece matched the design exactly.

Production

The tech pack was constructed completely by me with extreme care and attention to detail. Nothing was overlooked, any question or clarification that the factory would need is clearly stated on the tech pack without having redundant or blatantly obvious information. This product required no adjustment from sampling phase to full production.

Outcome

The final wallet translates the 5ivepillars identity into something people carry every day, with clean construction and a mark defined by texture instead of print.
